2009 AALS Convention - Castledare Miniature Railway

For what could be a trip to remember, Y121 and two grain cars were freighted to Perth. The AALS convention this year was at the legandary Castledare Miniature Railway - DVR's twin across Australia. What a long and interesting track.

We had fun in driving around, and seeing all the variaty one sees with a large meet. We were constently almost the last loco off the track. The practically had to shut the railway down to stop us !!!

A Big Thankyou to Ken and Craig Belcher for making the trip go so well.
